Dial, case, bracelet and clasp are examined and compared with the features of the model and of its period.
Before being sold, every watch goes through a check and servicing: movement revision, battery change, cleaning. When needed, a watchmaker steps in.
Each watch is shipped in protective packaging, together with a record of the work carried out.
The watches in the collection are between twenty and forty-five years old and may show signs of wear. Those signs are described in the listing and visible in the photographs. Polishing is done rarely and with care, to preserve the authenticity of the piece.
They have already run for thirty years and are ready to keep going.
eMMe watches is a selection of vintage watches from the Eighties, Nineties and early Two-thousands, based in Milan. More than 500 pieces have passed through our hands.
A watch joins the collection only when there is no doubt about its authenticity. The condition of every piece is described in full detail, signs of time included, before the price.
A gift with the right date: tell us the year and we will check whether we have a piece from that year.
If the watch you are looking for is already in the collection, we offer it straight away and at no cost. If it has to be sourced, the search costs €30, which is deducted from the price of the watch when you buy it. Just tell us the maison, the model, the period and any budget: when we find a piece matching those criteria we will send photographs and a precise description of its condition.

Yes. Each piece is verified as a whole: case, dial, fonts, clasp, markings and signs of ageing. If there is any doubt, the watch is not offered for sale.
An authentic watch may have components replaced at a later date, such as a clasp or a strap. Any replacements are stated in the listing.
